Savant by Aleksander Vinter

Discovered it on one of my sleepless nights and isntantly fell in love with this artist. Vario is my favourite track so far. I am listening to it when I fell asleep, when I wake up and when I am on my way to work.
I really like the nostalgic 8-bit elements. Makes me thinking back of childhood. Mixed up with some rough bass ? Sounds pretty good to me.

The Tiny Book of Tiny Stories

Came along that book when I followed Josh Gordon-Levitt on facebook and got instantly amazed by it. This book is a small collection of  adorable phrases with inspiring illustrations. While looking through Gordon-Levitt’s page I foudn this guy reading this book:

The most touching part for me is:

If I read our story backwards, it’s about how I un-broke your heart, and then we were happy until one day, you forgot about me forever.

Lovely. Although I don’t have place for my books anymore, I just have to buy it! And I will.

Epik High ft. Lee Ha Yi – Cold

There are a few things that will never change. For example my love and admiration for Epik High. Fell in love with them 6 years ago and since that I am wondering why things can’t all stay that beautiful and pure as their music. Why are all my other feelings in a static changing but not mine to their music?

I think we all have that one band which is staying with us in all our moods and our special moments. Such as our first love, our first relation ship, our first disappointment, our first heartaches. In my case it was Epik High’s songs which accompanied me during my very bad and very good moments. And although years have passed I still get a tiny stitch in my heart when I am listning to the sad songs which reminds me of my bad moments. On a few days I even get slightly teary eyes, because contrary to the songs life has changed and moments have passed. At some point you can say that every song converses a tiny piece of our past-self’s and everytime we listen to that one special song we can slightly feel how we used to were. For 2 or 3 minutes we can get back to that state.

Since I am pretty nostalgic I find it quite amazing how we can make an emotional timetravel just by listning to songs.

This is my favourite song of them and I am still listning to it quite often. It reminds me of how I fell in love and how I lay crying out loud in my bed. Just exactly what the song is about.

btw Epik High is also the reason why I wanted to learn korean so bad (but still haven’t lol).
