Vienna #2

or

How I almost died because I ate way too much…
twice, cause I did exactly the same thing the following day

First of all: I’ll be fat by the end of this year. Yepp, that’s it. It’s my fate and I’ll try to accept it. The end of model shootings. The end of selfportraits. I’ll be a chubby but happy photographer behind the camera, because all I do in Vienna is eating like I was starving for the last couple of months. And I am doing that every single day. That’s why I won’t be able to fit through our door anymore. My new theme song will be “Rolling in the deep (fridge)” since I’ll be unable to walk. Yes, folks… that’s my fate. Getting fat… and I can’t avoid it.

To prove you tat I am not exaggerating I’ll show you what I had yesterday for dinner:

I went with a colleague to an bloody “All you can eat” at an amazing japanese restaurant. You have to know that I am taking the term “All you can eat” really literally. And you have to know that I am eating shit loads. On the picture above isn’t even our complete menu. We odered so much that it didn’t fit on one bloody collage.
Just in case you want to know what we I ate: (from left to right)  mixed sushi plate #1 with sake maki, avocado maki, sake crystal rolls, ebi tempura maki, tuna bonsai rolls; fried udon; gyoza; miso soup; mix sushi plate #2 with sake nigiri, tuna nigiri and butterfish nigiri; okonomiyaki; freaking lobster; fried dumplings with shrimps filling; mixed sushi plate #3 with squid nigiri, eel nigiri, octopus nigiri and sake sashimi. I almost died when we went home.

The next day I had my day off, which means time for shopping. (The food pictures are at the end of  this entry)
Of course I went out without any idea or clue where to go. Plans are so overrated!

Petit Point ♥

Vienna has beside its fancy building alot of beautiful parks as well.

After wandering around Vienna we finally find a nicce restaurant next to the university called “Yamm“. It’s a modern restaurant which offers vegetarian food. Their buffet is amazing and their dishes really creative. Following their philosophy of avoiding the waste of good food you are paying your food by weight.

Sorry for the mobilephone quality. Was too hungry to take a decent picture. This plate weighted about 300g and cost 10€. It wasn’t that much but it was so filling! (Of course since you have alot of rice, couscous, beans and peas.)

Since I am an eating beast I couldn’t rejected the dessert:

Semolina (weird name) pudding with blueberries and a chocolate-walnut tarte.
You are allowed to drool.

I don’t regret it and I don’t regret the fact that this delicous food will bring me some extra weight. I don’t care okay? Because this stuff is making me freaking happy. *__*

And when we are talking about happyness:

25€ for alot of happiness. ♥

Hope you are having a good time as well.
Kiss and hugs
June ♥
